Project name

I had been trying to update a project, and so I copied and pasted the name into the box. Then, when I pressed the share button, the name changed to the list of summer reading books that my sister had copied and pasted hours earlier into a word document. What happened?????????

Re: Project name

I tried it again, and this time it worked. But, when I checked the website, it said "Please keep the name of your project appropriate for all ages and read the terms of use, even though none of the book titles in that list were inappropriate. I removed the messed up version, and sucessfully completed an update. What went wrong???? The warning came in the form of a message.

I don't know what went wrong with your copy and paste operation.  But it doesn't surprise me that the Scratch filter objected to something in the book list.  With a long enough list, there is likely to be part of a word that triggers the filter.

That would make sense, there were like 20 books on the list. The weird thing, though, was that it had appeared to be the proper name, until I pushed the share button. It then changed to that book list. I just pushed control V and nothing happened. I wonder what will happen when I press the post reply button.

Re: Project name

Guess nothing happens lol! Perhaps the cached control v data erased itself.

I don't know. It was a long list of summer reading books, and there ws nothing inappropriate at all. It sort of erased the name I had copied into it when I pushed the button, in favor of the thing it had copied before. I have never had this problem before though. Everything is working now. I had tried to update that one-sprite bubble wrap, and so I copied and pasted the name so it would update and not make a new one, but it made a new one called "untitled" and gave me that message. While it was uploading (it wouldn't let me press the cancel button) it said that the name was that list of books and their authors.
