Not playing "pop" sound?

For some reason or another, my latest project (see here) is not playing the pop sound whenever the emoticon speech bubble appears.

I'm inclined to think this might be a Java bug, but the "pop" sound was playing perfectly fine yesterday when I ran through the online Java player yesterday. Now it isn't playing.

Is it just me, or are others not hearing the pop sound either?

I can hear it, but I don't know why you can't..

It is working pretty well for me. Is your MIDI sound turned on?

It is, but the pop sound is a wave file, so MIDI has nothing to do with it.

I guess this means it's my version of Java or something gone wonky with my computer.  hmm

Try running a different Java applet to see if it's isolated to your project/the Scratch site's applet.

Hmm... I tried running the project on different browsers and running projects using the same sound file... looks like it's just this project in particular. Maybe I could try clearing my cache and seeing if that works.

Edit: Nope, didn't work. D:
