I know that's the general argument, but who remembers what happened in Pocahontas anyway? I sure don't
And I've never seen national treasure either.

Watch it, and the second one. They're both really good, and I went to where they filmed in Mount Vernon. We went into the basement they go in, and the cornerstone they use to open a secret door at one point was moved for the movie cause they actually set it up in the wine cellar of the house, not the real place.

idont think you read my post right. i said it puts special effects OVER a unique plot, meaning that it didnt want to work on such a unique plot, but it wanted to amaze viewers with the special effects.

You're thinking of Enchanted.
Ella Enchanted was about some girl who had to "obey" everyone or something. I've never watched the whole movie.

avatar was visually stunning but lacking in story, it's definitely worth a watch though.

shorts, I saw it, and it made me want to cut off my ears, scoop out my eyes with spoons, then proceed to bash my head into a wall
but it was that, or G-Force
I bet G-Force would've made me want to slit my neck the proceed to do what I would've done above

G-Force wasn't that bad in comparison to other films.
