I suggested something like this a little while back. But with mine, all of them were easy to get and promoted constructive activity. There would be a title for people who contribute to the wiki, people who make certain projects, and other constructive things. Your titles Scratch Gamer, and RPer would promote things that are not constructive I think. Also, the Epic Scratcher title would make others feel inferior which is something I don't think we want.
I think titles would work if implemented correctly.
