icons.iconator.com?

I am not sure if this fits in troubleshooting, it it doesn't, move it wherever it fits.

Ok, I was going to some of the TBG topics I had bookmarked, and on all but one of them, Chrome told me that those pages "had elements from icons.iconator.com, which appears to host malware". Should I ignore this, or stay away? Until I  get a definitive answer, I will stay away.

Re: icons.iconator.com?

It was probably a image or something.

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

Re: icons.iconator.com?

That happen to me too. And yes, it's because of the images in some people's* signature.

* There is not only one.

EDIT: I have figured out why. By looking at their signature, I found one thing in common: their signature contains the following picture:
http://i28.tinypic.com/vy00hy.gif
Another thing I found is that the URL of the picture is http://icons.iconator.com/226/ICONATOR_3523a51c851aa461ea562935e5e54b1f.gif, and this is why.

I got that too - I was feeling anxious, and it was just the cute, happy rainbow sheep!  big_smile

I fall: It's a tragedy. You fall: It's comedy.
Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.

Re: icons.iconator.com?

I saw this on a different forum, PKMN.NET. So ya. It's not just here. The admins should just mass wipe the images and block them.

Re: icons.iconator.com?

Firefox doesn't block the image, but when I go to the host site, it says "Reported Attack Page". This is the explanation for its blocking: http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/ … nator.com/

Yawn.

Re: icons.iconator.com?

Maybe Firefox doesn't block sites that contain contents from "attack pages"?

Re: icons.iconator.com?

yeah, I had that problem too. I just use my IE Tab extention or my Wii (right now) to browse the fourms.  smile

bye 1.4, we all loved you. but we all outgrew the site. 2.0 is a welcome change.

Re: icons.iconator.com?

Yes, that site seems to provoke something of a malware warning. I've had to remove an image from somebody's signature because of it - I think we should stay clear of iconator, though...
