I was messing around with Squeak the other day, and I had just added stretch blocks to Scratch, when I decided to save them. I did, and now, every time I open Scratch, two error messages pop talking about, "unable to find C://Program Files/Scratch/SqueakV2sources" and "unable to find Scratch.changes" and then it opens Scratch. Everything worked fine on it, until I realized that I can't download projects. The error messages show up, andthen a normal opening Scratch Cat in the center project opens. I want to know if I have to re-install Scratch or not, and I don't, because I have loads of sounds and costumes in that file and I don't want to have to copy them out to save them from the uninstallment. Also, please don't tell me to do something unless you're completely sure it would work. Thanks.

Hmmm... I'll move this to troubleshooting... I'm not too sure how to solve this, but someone else might know

Reinstalling Scratch should do the trick - I think the error messages are exactly what they say they are: the files are missing. Reinstalling Scratch should get the files there again. From what I understand, reinstalling does not lose your projects or costumes, but to be safe, you might want to save a backup copy to your desktop.

1. Shift-click the rounded bit of the R in the Scratch logo (look at the top left corner).
2. Click "save image for end-user".
3. Click "Yes".

Oh, this happens all the time. It's when you save the image when fill-screen is off. Click OK on all those error messages, turn fill-screen on, and then save the image again. No need for re-installing.

Click on the black screen and then click on the black screen again and scratch should come up. Just save image for end user and you are done!
