I am making a game controller for scratch. I am taking a usb keyboard and de-soldering the buttons and wiring buttons to the arrow keys, Z, X, C, V, The space Bar, and s (For a start button.)
Would this be more easily done with an arduino or should I use the keyboard?

It would be more interesting with an arduino, but easier with a keyboard.

I would get a miniture wireless keyboard e.g for a wii LINK: Here
And then opitionaly remove the keys.
And next build a case ontop that has buttons on for your chosen keys. Its then done!

Nah that won't sync to a computer. I'm just desoldering a keyboard and re-wiring it. I am making the shell with a plastic called Shape Lock and it should be a tiny bit bigger than a wii classic controller.

Interesting idea... I had an idea like this before, but it involved joining a joystick, entire keyboard and a trackball together.
