Well, please read this guide, I spent 20 minutes of my time writing it when I could've been doing something else.

Shortened down version:

When you kill certain pokémon your stats will increase 


That and other factors (Nature, life orb, and good moves) was why a triple OHKOd your team ACA 

What's amazing is your utter disregard for the fact that I completely wasted 30 minutes on that.

In the department store in goldenrod

He said Diamond, not HG/SS.

You can get them on floor 4 (?) of the Department store in Veillstone City. It's to the left of the pokemon center.
