Apparently, my mom doesn't want me to have my door shut all the time. I'm keeping it open now, but I'm rigging my door to dump three ounces of glitter onto whoever walks into my room. I'm probably going to get my laptop permanantly taken away for that, but I'm doing it to prove a point.
I like my room. I'm listening to my iPod 75% of the time I am in my room, and I sing along which gives me a reason to not want to listen to it downstairs, with everyone listening. My family, however, thinks I'm staying in my room just to be anti-social. And I READ and I do plently of other things in my room. This is the second time I've been 'punished' for staying in my room 'too long', and I still don't get what the problem is.

That may not be the best idea ever. Glitter is hard to clean up. Stick with with water

What point does that prove, that you're too immature to talk out your problems and that you have basic knowledge of levers?

I try to talk out my problems, I've kindly asked that people stay out of my room, and I am still given less privacy than my eight year old sister. People at least knock on HER door. And now that you say that, I'm going to think twice about that glitter thing. I'll probably just make it so when you open the door, a sign pops down at you. Not like thats going to do anything.

If nothing works, put this sign up, and just BTW youre gonna have to clean up the glitter, so your loss.
