How Do I Post on the Forum?
I can post in this forum and a few others, but the miscellaneous section has no reply button or box for me to reply in. Why is that?

As you are a "New Scratcher", You may not post in these forums to prevent spam. After you've been here for a while, you will become a "Scratcher" and will be able to post everywhere.

I have heard it depends also on what you do with the community.
For instance, if you just wait doing nothing its going to take ages.
But if you make helpful comments, come up with games, have freinds, and forum on the forums you can it does not take to long.

Yeah, it's not awfully short. Been well over a month since what? Lots of new Scratchers have started turning into Scratchers (EX: JeanTheFox).

We are not allowed to say. But if you were there during the attacks were preventing ourselves from, you would understand. And I never even saw an actual troll post, just the aftermath of all the freaked out people.

Whether or not you are a New Scratcher is not dependent on how much you are active on the main Scratch site. (Although it may play a role in helping you get promoted) To get promoted to Scratcher status, make sure you are a friendly, helpful community member, and post helpful and relevant things on the forums.
