This is a project I made that teaches about scrolling and platformer games.

Re: Scrolling and Platformer Guide

Actually, a month or so ago, I took scrolling tutorials one step further. I created a project which allows the user to drag and drop the points of the level, and then view their level. The levels are created dynamically via the pen. So long as the points of the level are on a straight line with each other, there are no glitches. I tested whether a sprite will react to the pen, and found that it will. To get rid of the level editor part for posting your custom level and player sprite, all that has to be done is disconnect a few blocks, and change one number. This is the original project, and this is the version without the level editor interface visible, and has a player sprite built in. The sensing in the second one is poor, but I am sure you could fix it. It is literally as simple as drag-and-drop to create a scroller!
