webcam support
I would love to see some form of webcam support in scratch. I know that the scratchboard has a light sensor, but this is extremely limited and is in effects just a single switch. A webcam could allow users to create hotspot areas outside of the computer that could be activated by colour or possibly movement. A webcam would allow scratch to interact with real world objects and people in an exciting and useful way.
ps: scratch is pretty amazing really. Thanks You for creating such a user friendly environment!!!!

Yes we do have! Webcams are one of the chipest hw you can buy (less than 20$) even less expensive than a -I must admit, very nice- picoboard!
And lots of nowadays laptops come with a built-in webcam.
