I say we move Miscellaneous to a separate website, like the TBGs.
Reasons:
1.) More moderators focusing on closing trends, etc., because miscellaneous needs more moderators, as it is chaotic now.
2.) Miscellaneous is the main forum, and it would be good to not have Misc. clog up the forums, and on another website it would be balanced.
3.) People who use the main forums can focus more on helping, not spamming.
So we could pretty much do the same thing Jonathanpb did with the TBGs, but with Miscellaneous.

I would like to see Miscellaneous go - but the other forums might get a bit crazy. Actually, Inspiration and More (the forum) was created to keep those different topics in one place, away from other forums.

That would be nice... and lots easier to stay concentrated with an area you're interested in.
I support.

Don't support. The TBGs are useless anyway, I have no clue why they still exist.

Why don't we move it in with TBGs and call it the Off Topic Forum?

I totally agree! Deleting Misc totally would just move the problem to the other parts of the forum, but if it is in a separate website, it can get more modding attention and still be there. Also, I've noticed that when the Misc forum gets crazy, the atmosphere sometimes drips over to the other parts of the forum. Moving Misc might make the issues in it a little more separated from the main forums.

I support! This would be nice, having Misc at another website

1. Getting more moderators for Misc doesn't have anything to do with moving it. What is the connection?
2. What do you mean by "main forum"? There is no such thing as main forum. Also, how does Miscellaneous clog the forums? That is like saying that one TV channel clogs all of the rest of the channels. You can click on the forum you like and not see anything on another forum.
3. People can focus more helping with or without the Misc. How does the Misc prevent people from helping?

Nevermind what I said, what I'm basically saying is that we should move Miscellaneous to a separate site, and I'm surprised how many people supports.

I'm surprised as well. Why are so many people supporting a bad idea?
About the TBG Forums - They should just be deleted. This is a programming site, I don't see why we need a TBG section at all. We do however, need a Miscellaneous Forum, or else all the other forums will be filled with garbage. If we moved it to another forum, there would definitely be an increase in spam topics in other forums. New and old members alike who didn't discover the forum yet would think it's okay to post spam around the site because there isn't another forum like Miscellaneous where they can't post in. Instead of thinking "Hey, I can't post in here, but this is where my topic would go" they would think "Hey there's no Off-Topic Forum, I can put this anywhere". Do you understand what I'm saying, my boy?

How do you think people do TBGs, we would tell the new scratchers the TBG and Misc. website.

Not soon enough. It's like a flood.

Why do you keep repeating that he's gone? He even still posts

No support.
That would make them harder to find, so people wouldn't bother as much.
