By now, spam should just be expected. If you think something's spam, don't look at it! Simple as that.

That's like being in a room, with dirt all over the walls, and you tell people to just not look at it instead of making an effort to clean it up.

That would only cause more problems as we would need more moderators to work for the Miscellaneous Forum if it was created.

Lol, greatly said, Ace. But I still say we should close it; At least for a day. Or maybe we could have a separate forum for Miscellaneous, so we can have more moderators focusing in stopping spam in the spam forum, and not having to worry about other threads.

But spam in large quantities isn't so easy to clean up. And having to categorize something either as "Spam, going to be closed", or "Okay, leaving it here" will need people's opinions, especially if people show interest to the thread. Let's say the Top 100 Posters thread was closed because 50% of the people were just posting random things. A moderator would have to decide whether leaving it, making people happy, or closing it and stopping the spam.

You get spammed, you get over it is what it should be. We can make an effort to clean it up, but it won't stop happening.

Food Spam also makes people uncomfortable. All you have to do it look at it o_O

To wiimaster and everyone else who's complaining about spam: look, I know spam sux, but you just have to deal with it. No matter what website you go to there's gonna be spam, it's a fact. There's no way around it. If you can't stand it that much, leave, no one's forcing you to stay. Also you're forgetting that there's an ALTERNATIVE to all this: REPORT BUTTON.
