Hey there, cheddargirl here. smile

Right now, it seems like that when forum fads get out of control, they clog up the forums, preventing other discussions from taking place. This happened yesterday with the failboat, failplane, etc. threads.

I am seeing that the current fad is the "What do you think I look like" threads, which, in my opinion, looks on the verge of getting out of control and becoming more of a spam nuisance; so, in the meantime, I've been closing them down until I get the Scratch Team's opinion on these threads.

Thanks for staying on top of these annoying trends. They aren't all bad, but can clog the forums a lot if a trend becomes too popular. All we all know how annoying 10 nearly identical threads can be.

I am in complete agreement with closing these fad threads. Filling up the forums with a bunch of nearly identical topics gets in the way of other discussions. Most of these fad topics soon become filled with spam as well, if they weren't spam to start with.

When people latch on to these fads, they are essentially turning the whole forum into one big text based game. It needs to stop.

I got on yesterday night and saw approximately 15 of them. That got really annoying.

So thanks for closing them! And now there won't be as much stalkerous info in the misc forums! smile

I find those types of threads highly unnecessary . What's the point of them anyway? That's why if anything, they belong in theme TBG, because it sounds like a more personal game of 20questions

Yesterday, i was just thinking of making a TBG kinda like that wink

I have to agree, there were a lot of those threads (way too much, maybe) , at least 5 i think, in here.
