I'm tired of spam
The spam is going to far. The Misc forum is FULL of spam, it HAS to stop. Page one is more than half way filled with a pointless trend. There has been about 4 topics about expressing love towards other users. There has been many gossip threads. There has been a couple 'Spam all you want here' threads, and a big rise in pointless topics. I bet if we kept track of how often we close threads, there would be a spike in the closings right now. And even if people see the other trend threads are closed, they make their own, even though it will obviously get closed too! And to add on to all of this, many great Scratchers are leaving. This is getting a bit chaotic, am I right?

I somewhat agree with the closing Misc thing. But not permantly, cause Misc is my home. But It should be temporarily closed so the mods can clean it up, and maybe a couple stickies about 'How we define Spam' and 'Please keep the forums Spam free'

No, because apparently the government sets a death penalty on them. Killing someone who killed another person to show that killing is wrong?

I have to agree with Float here on this one. It's the Internet. Face it, there's gonna be spam. There isn't even that much spam. Those topics about the love an stuff, are long gone. And the fad will only last a few hours. Calm down.

Third, the love topics aren't 'long gone'. They were pretty recent. Fourth, the fad may continue considering people keep posting the fad even though the rest of the topics are closed.

Anyways, yeah some spam can make people uncomfortable. Can it HURT people? It's possible, but I've yet to see it happen.
