Sometimes I'll look at peoples' friends lists and there will be a default picture with no name beside it. How is this done?
Here is a screenshot of M44's friends.
How did he befriend someone without a name?

If you click on the user's icon, the Scratch website gives you a 404 error. Whoever it was must have friended him, and then deleted his account. (Is that possible?) Since the website couldn't find the user, it couldn't display the name.
At least, that's my theory.

Delete an account?
Is that even possible?

You can email the Scratch team to disable it. I think at one point, they even put it up, and a few people tested it. They took it out afterwards

I've seen people who have themselves in their friends list. I don't get how they do this.
EDIT: [offtopic][bragging]henley, I passed your post count[/bragging][/offtopic]

Old topics are automatically closed because they're, well, old.

Ah, yes. How long are they archived for? Do you know?
As long as they can be before the Scratch Team does some clean-up work to take the strain off the servers.

You will need a second account. That account must not have your first account on its friend list.
•On your second account, and go to your first account's stuff.
•Open a new tab/internet, and go to the Scratch website.
•Logout, and log in as your first account.
•Go to your first tab/internet, and click Add to Friends.

They had a "close account" button at your profile instead of a testing thing, I think... I remember the protests - everyone got scared (including me ^_^) so it was removed.
