How about a basic enemy AI? A test boss fight. A big robot that slowly walks towards the player, swinging around a flail, which is a separate sprite. If the flail touches the player, they get thrown back and lose a heart. This is sounding kind of Zelda-y

I've never gotten to a boss on MS. I quit after the tutorial
The bosses will be easy, like jumping on a platform to avoid a laser which recharges every 10 seconds, and then hitting it's weak spot until it blows up, and things like that. Look up Grand Chase gameplay. Anyway, I'll be back later.

well i was thinking that you could take quests like in runescape, some of which have bosses at the end. that would be better than just random bosses
we would have to make lots of quests though. anyway i think that if we can make the import character system a reality, then we could make an account with the character and with the different worlds, each world would have a quest and an area to go around, then the main world could have the trading centre. how does that sound?

also have you found anything out about switching the character images, because that's REALLY important! i wouldn't play an rpg with these characters, not to say that they're bad, just that they don't fit an interesting RPG game, you know what i would want these for, scratch mods, you should advertise them in advanced topics for scratch mods, i bet loads of people would take them.

I've heard that in Panther you can connect with Mesh and with other projects in your C: directory or something like that. I think a Lobby would be possible.

So then if we make it a bunch of different Levels all connected by one Lobby, we can do it in several projects. I've played this game called Bots that's similar to Grandchase in its concept (you enter a Room with other people, and when you start the game, the party of 6 people enter the level and they fight through to the end where the Boss is). Is that how this game will be?
