HTML Question

I'm making a site for my guitar teacher. I need to know how to make login that lets you sign up and login (duh), like on the Scratch site, but than you go to a new page. Anyone know, since I know you guys know this.

Sorry for off-topicness, but I really need it.

Re: HTML Question

Okay, what you need to learn is PHP. Or Javascript, but that's not server-side and is therefore much less useful. You gotta learn PHP in order to do that. Frankly , I never quite got around to doing that. But my friend knows how.

Javascript is not a server-sided programming language and therefore can only allow you to create login a login page; the user cannot change there account at all and can only log in and look around but not (permanently) earn points or even sign up. What you saw might have been a page that used Javascript and PHP, most websites do use both.

Re: HTML Question

Definitely PHP. If you need the scripts (even without using mySQL) let me know.
