How do I...

How do I make so when one sprite is clicked, it makes another sprite change costumes.
I'm a newbie!

Re: How do I...

When the sprite senses that it's been clicked, it should broadcast a message to the other sprite telling it to change its costume. Try something like this:

Any questions?

Yep - Jonathanpb got it right  smile  Basically what happens is when the sprite gets clicked, it sends out a message to all of the sprites. Whether the sprites choose to recieve that message is up to the scripts within them. In this case, only the one sprite actually recieved the message, and at the time of recieving, it switched the costume.

Hey Pinkchibs, if you've gotten your question answered, click the report button on your first post and say "Can you please close this topic?" It tells other people not to post here again because your question was answered, and that way people who didn't get their questions answered can be seen.

Thanks,
Scratch On!  smile
