Are you sure about that file size? Make sure it's under 10 MB then try restarting Scratch, and if that still doesn't work, try restarting your computer.

Maybe you have security software that's affecting it?

On Topic:I've had one of these many times, where I upload a small project and a popup says that it is too big. Just try in a little - worked for me.

Hi, Finnschool! It seems you've started using the forums! Welcome! Here you can find many things, from how to make a script, to what sqrt means, to the Pokemon Center in Misc.! But it will be counted as spam if it is not directly related to the topic, and spam is not good. If you spam a lot, you will be ignored in the forums! So, from now on, stay to the topic when posting! Scratch On!

I reguarly get this problem, I think the best soultion is that the scratch team make an upload form on the website. Then when you want to upload a file, just go to the form and add your file. That would eliminate most the problem.

On the other hand, it's much less convenient. The Scratch program and website are linked primarily through the Sharing feature; if it weren't for that, about half of the users of this website would probably never have found it.

If another computer doesn't work, I'd suggest trying a whole other network. If your school has Scratch installed on their computers, or the library, or your friend's house, just put your project on a memory key and upload it from there.

No, you don't need to download Scratch again. You should be fine.

Yep! As soon as you upload your first project, it'll recognize that and stop displaying that message.

Looks like Blade-Edge already answered your question where you already posted it - in the future, it's best to make your own threads for things like this
