I'll probably run to be a mod. :X My mom might not let me. Anyway, is there a mod age limit?

Hmm... well, the youngest current mod is 12 (I think), but I think most mods are about 14 (not me though... I'm still 13  big_smile ) I guess it's mostly based on the reports you make, how friendly you are to others (most of the time - everyone's allowed to make a mistake now and then) and if you try to help people much  smile

I don't think post count matters too much - I had 850 posts when I became a mod, but, with moderating, I've gained a lot more. It's probably more based on the length of time you have spent on Scratch - your account must be at least 6 months old, and you have to have been active for quite a while of that time  smile

Oh, and "flaming" is getting into big arguments with others  smile

I met Dazachi, he's probably about 11 or 12. I have alot of posts and have been scratching since the days of 1.0. Back then, people programmed and made games and pretty much nothing else, but when 2009 came around, games weren't made very much anymore. I got mad and got tangled up in the flames a while ago but I don't do that anymore because I'm trying to be Knighted by the scratch team. (Made into a mod)

You have to be 6 months old? Waaaa.... Now I have to wait another year for 2011(I think)

Error:Signature could not load. Please wait for an indefinite amount of time, until you realize you're gullible and go off to look for another potentially interesting signature to stare at.

Unfortunately, you do have to have been a member for 6 months - sorry, you'd really be one of my top candidates  smile

The next election after the next one should be in January 2011.

I think the youngest moderator is illusionist at 10
Unless he's 11 now, then he's tied with Dazachi, unless Dazachi isn't 11

Well, you just did. I don't think it's not allowed, because there are millions of 10 year olds in the world

Well, lots of people want to be moderators, but the Scratch Team only picks a few to go into the Election. Last time there were 8 people, though since there will probably be less slots needing to be filled next time, there will probably be less next time. Moderating is really a piece of cake once you get used to it - just clean up things you think are inappropriate. There's a long, long guide on moderating, so there's very little to think about.
