Compress projects to reduce lag

I read in the topic http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=6465 that Scratch purposely has lag so that it is easier for users to understand how their program works. I can see the point in this, but maybe there should be a way to compress your project when you are finished so that you get immediate results instead of intermediate results.

Re: Compress projects to reduce lag

I actually got the word "intermediate" from the link that I pasted into my post.
