what does sticky mean?

i see on the forums on the top of the "list" there are 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 etc things labeled "sticky" i asume i means that it will stay at the top but am i right?

Yep, you're right! Sticky topic are very important and are always al the top of the forum list.

They're usually quite helpful topics, and they're stickied so they'll never fall down the pages and everybody will see them.
