This gallery, http://scratch.mit.edu/galleries/view/10269 , doesnt work when you click it. It says loading done and appears all white. Does it happen to you too? I think there are over 11000 comments in there so that may be the problem...

The gallery was being used as a chatroom right?
It has more than 53,000 comments!
We're going to see how to tweak those limits but chatrooms not only seem beyond the core goals of this website but now also are making us reach the limits of what our technical infrastructure can handle. Is it worth spending time tweaking the galleries to allow to use it as a chatroom while there are many other websites that provide better chatrooms?
I think we're going to start setting limits on how often people are allowed to post a comments on galleries and projects (maybe 1 per minute) so we can give a little bit of rest to our server. Poor server!

I remember in one forum, there was a post limit on the threads. Once there were 2,000 posts, you had to make another topic if you wanted to continue. I think the same could work for the galleys. Just make it so they can only get about 2,000 posts before locking it and if the owner wants more posts, he/sh can either make a new gallery or delete some of the older or spammyer posts. Don't put this restriction on projects though!!!
