Remaking it could be a good idea. It's great that you want to help, but fighting tends to make it worse. An approach that works to resolve conflicts, or at least minimize them, would be much more helpful.

Well, you should ask Wave what he should do. He's the current owner. If I were still owner, I'd probably shut it down, because the people already disliking it will flame in every thread about FF, being FF or something random like The Walrus Forum Team.

It would be great if you would discuss it with him. Yes, if something designed to prevent flames is in some ways helping to create flames, it could be a good time to rethink it.

We are glad you guys want to help, and would be happy to participate in a conversation rethinking how best to do so.
