Hi Guys I am making a powerful but simple Operating system in scratch and was wondering if you guys would like to put your stuff in it. I mean that you will have to develop your unique, inovative app. After you have made it I will make a credits where all your names will be there. I will send an email which has the link to the final project. Send your final app here [e-mail removed by moderator] (you can also send updates which can fix glitches and enhanced features.) Here are some ideas to get you started with. I just don't want some old boring app you copied fromo someone else. I need powerful and simple and easy to use apps. Along with the app you should send me an icon that when pressed your app will open. Here are ideas. This can be your new advanced project.

1. Calculator
2. Calendar
3. Fun games
4. Any Usefull Tools
5. Passtime stuff
6. A Clock
7. A Word processor (it may take some time but yeah!!!!)
8. A Music player (It would be awesome if you could make it import audio from your computer!!!)
9. A voice recorder. ( it may seem impossible but I will give you a place to start, in scratch go to open>Examples>Simulations>Sound gragh (3rd one) this shows how loud the room is through a graph. You need a microphone for this one)
10. A Paint editor (that would be great!!!)

Any other ideas come to mind please feel free to make them and send them to me.

Hey! Just a suggestion, making your OS in Panther! using the clone feature, you can make one-sprite apps that become multi-sprite apps when you run them and then delete the clones when your done (making everything faster ans smaller). Panther also lets you import and export sprites IN THE CODE from a folder, create and edit text files that can be used to store data and save settings, access the internet and use webcam! If you decide to build it in Panther I would be happy to build an innovative app or two big_smile

Slash also has clone/delete.
