I'm working on a Pac-Man simulator that has alot of bugs and missing features. Can someone help me program some things? All those who help will appear in the Special Thanks aera in Test Mode.
THINGS TO ADD:
Random Ghost Movements (There's a costume for each direction a ghost is facing)
Test Mode (Where you can edit configuration)
Pac-Fruit
The eating sound
Scare Mode (called "Ghost Mode" in-game)
Corrupted 256th Level
Ghost Point value during Attract Mode
Ghost Speed at tunnels
Intermissions betwwen level 2, 5, 9, 13 and 17
other small things.
THINGS TO FIX:
Pac-Man's movement and wall collision sensing--His motion should stop immediately after he touches the blue color.
Some sounds not stopping when told to
The speed of the Test Screens
Not every thing resets when the green flag is clicked.
Game's audio reactions to button presses
Siren plays at the wrong time
Bonus Life script needs alot of help
Other small features found that I don't know about.
The link to my project: The link will be down until I can post the newest version.
You need WinRAR or compatibles to unzip the RAR version.
Tell me how it looks so far and once you finish messing with it you can upload it to me in this thread and I'll download it and see if it works. Please tell me what you changed so I can test it and change anything to make it fit in the simulator.
PLEASE DO NOT CLAIM IT AS YOUR OWN. I DO NOT WANT THIS UPLOADED TO THE SCRATCH SERVER.
One more thing, only post if you're actually going to help. If you can't, don't bother to post. It's annoying to have a topic filled with "I can't help" posts. If you have please remove it from the thread. Also, if you say "I will help" but you don't do anything at all or just say it and never touch the thread again, I recommend removing it from the thread now. I can't have useless posts like I did in the Mac's Quest to Fix the Apple idea thread. It just takes up valuable space needed for real ideas and helpers, so don't do it.
Thanks,
WindozeNT
NOTE: Project Pac-Man is going to be restarted from scratch as it was a bugridden project starting from the simulated test screens. Expect it up soon.

Looks great! Locomule is also working on a Pac-Man game - I'm curious as to how the two will compare!
I know a resource that Locomule found extraordinarily helpful was the Pac-Man Dossier, which explains pretty much everything about the mechanics of the game, which are curiously complex. You may want to take a look at that.
Good luck with your project! I haven't actually downloaded it yet, but I'll be sure to do so when I get the chance
I'll also be happy to help. Just tell me what to do, and I'm your man!

I would like to help. Recently, I was trying to work on a very very(And I mean VERY) simple version of PacMan. Of course, I faeld.
I don't have WinRAR, so a .zip file would be nice. Thanks!

The first really explains what needs to be done. There's an update for the project, but I can't pos it without a new iPod charger. My iPod has the newest version on it.

If you're looking for a download link, it'll be down until Update 1 is out. Sadly, it's [Update 1] stored on my iPod and the charger for it [the iPod] is not working--a wiring issue is preventing it to communicate with Windows. I have a backup copy on XP, but since there is no other USB device to put it on to, it'll take a while. Also, please help if you're going to post.

Project Pac-Man has been down for ages, but now it's coming back up. I'm remaking PPM from scratch since it had sooooo many bugs.

Are you saying that like everyone else or do you actually mean it?
