Don't forget that you can add projects to the contest gallery at any time.  smile

I think all the projects we've uploaded so far have been part-finished or to-join-with-something-else...  smile  We'll bear this in mind nearer to the closing date  smile

Don't worry she's managed to catch up!
Sorry I have been camping for the past 3 days, a bit of the spur of the moment thing so unfortunately I didn't get a chance to notify you.

Can i just clarify a few things;
- we already have one 1s1s game?
- we are planning to do another
- and we are also doing a version of Modern Conflict <-- which I think is a very good idea by the way!

Unfortunately I am in no way a graphics person, so I will have to concentrate more on scripting etc.
Is there anything you need me to be doing?
And maybe we could do the modern conflict as a text RPG? There are few of them out there and it may be a tactical move worth taking

Re: Team England Scratch summer olympics - The team is full!

If you feel like making a 1s1ser or two, you could do that - they don't have to be very complex - I'm going to join them all together in a massive library  big_smile  Condensed scripts are preferred, as my current PC lags a lot when I try to do things with a lot of massive scripts (or one great big one).

Do you have a test account to upload to?

@The edit: Niiice! We'll see what the others think - it would save on graphics making, for sure  big_smile

Three, in total  smile

The 1s1sers are going to be joined into one project, though  big_smile

I don't mind about Modern Conflict being a text RPG, but then what would be our main project though?

It's just an idea. Couldn't it count as a main project?

Yes, but then whats the third project?

Come on, we need to get ideas done and start working.

Re: Team England Scratch summer olympics - The team is full!

Well lets say our first and main project is Modern Conflict, either text RPG or normal. I only suggest text as we wouldn't need to worry about graphics etc.
Our second is going to be a mix of several 1s1s projects... right?
And our third.... what about a game arcade? We could make a couple of classic games such as pong, pacman etc. and then put them all together?

Re: Team England Scratch summer olympics - The team is full!

I'm  not too sure... I know that we need 1s1sers for the bucket, but I don't know what else we're gonna do. There was a mention of a Pokemon themed game at one point, but I haven't played Pokemon for years... and even then, I didn't really understand it.

There was the Modern Warfare thing that Sperry suggested... are we sure that's not too ambitious?

I think that a set of classic games is a good idea  smile  I could probably make a Pong game pretty quickly...

On a side note, I asked illusionist about the fact that Sperry is on holiday. We were allowed a substitute, and I invited WeirdF to join our team. He accepted, so I'll give him the link here...

Dig Dug
Space Invaders
Brick Breaker
Donkey Kong style platformer
Mario style scroller
Tetris

Actually it's the Union Flag unless it's flying from a ship!  wink

Then again, we are the HMScrathers, which is a ship's name...  tongue

All righty, I dunno whether Wolfie told you but I'm stepping in for Sperry...

I'm working on a one sprite one scripter right now, it was originally just a project, but I could make it for the Olympics I suppose!  smile

Mleh ^^" As long as you didn't start making that 1s1ser before the 17th, it'll be OK  big_smile

I'll link you to the test account I'm using for the Olympics...
