Yeah, it's the kind of file my itunes music downloads as. i would like to be able to put those songs on my projects.
From experience I have found that iTunes downloads as .m4a files, not .mp4. I did a google search and found that mp4 is a very uncommon form of an audio file.
It is possible however to turn .m4a files into mp3 and then import them into Scratch. iTunes does have a feature for that.

I just looked up the extension on FILExt, and MP4 has two different MIME types for video and audio. So I was wrong, MP4 is not video-only.

You can already do that like this:
[blocks]
<forever>
<if><< <( <{ variable }> <>> number )> <or> <( <{ variable }> <=> number )>
<end>
<end>
[/blocks]

.M4A is another name for MPEG4 and vice versa. Click here to vote for this idea!

I like the current scratch but I would like more extentions to scratch I would like a block that can alow you to:
•Clone a sprite without taking alot of space
•Hide and show list
•Different keys on keybord pressed example(Shift,Enter,Delete,F1 ect.)
•a Block that tells your time period.
•A block that allows you to erase your pen marks.
•More looks(ghost,brightness,color)like stretch,kalidescope,Distortion,
•a block that says <stamp on ()>.
•A block that you can stop all of this sprites block but none others
•a block that you can use to record a certain sound or sentence.
•a block that says pi for numbers
•a block that says if left,middle or right mouse clicked for sensing
For the Color Pallete
