That's just a mockup I made in a few minutes. The actual game is gonna be better. And yes, we're using the animals. It's Scratch Worlds
And I forgot to mention, they'll have about 3-4 costumes each, the walking, jumping, and possibly attacking, unless we go with the jumping on enemies to kill them way

hey wait a second, scratch worlds right? well then why not do something i haven't really seen in an rpg
IN THE BEGINNING
you start off in scratch world, that would be levels 1-9, when you reach level ten you are able to proceed
perhaps we could incorporate some cooler style graphics for characters at higher levels, along with different levels that have different graphics, you don't even have to do it by levels, you can do it based on how far they got in the game.
would that be cool or what?

it's possible, but many things are.

Well. Since I've been helping, and talking about this with blade on the scratch chat, I've been putting in scrolling. But one problem. Variables aren't showing up in the sensor value list.

can't you do more than 2 with hamachi and hacked scratch? i could help you develop a mod i guess, but i'm useless with squeak.
anyway am i accepted to the team?
Oh. I posted the thread about a month before he made the project.

hmm, that's odd...

weird, are you doing this with byob or scratch with mesh?

I've tried Panther and I think it's capable of doing this, and also we have an actual Panther Developer (possibly more) helping us so he might know the tricks better than us. But we'll also be looking at BYOB to see if it would be better for Scratch Worlds. Also I'll post some screenshots in an hour. Or maybe less depending on how well my computer decides to work today.

Hey, I think BYOB or Panther WITH mesh would work. I just uninstalled Panther, my hard drive is almost full
But I MIGHT be able to download it again. How would BYOB help? Let's brainstorm...

You no what? Panther has BYOB tech in it. I say we use that.
What do you think?
Offline
k i'd say panther, byob DOES NOT reduce lag btw, i've imported scratch games that absolutely work into byob and they have become unplayable!!!
but with byob you could build mesh blocks using the ones already available couldn't you?

I made some coding in Panther.
WE HAVE ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM!
Someone will have to be hosting ALL DAY! 0.o
Really, for this to work, someone must be hosting all day or else, no one can connect to the server! What will we do?
Offline
well i can't, we're going to have to get someone who will, my comp needs to be off or my parents will turn it off. so who has theirs on all of the time?
NOTE: if this gets even bigger then we will need more hosts for more servers.

Yeah. Now you see my point. I will try doing some Panther programming. WHERE ARE THE TAGS TO THE IMAGES!? I can't find them.
