Re: Should I make a Scape 2?

So, I have been thinking- how would you guys feel if the required number of moves from the bottom was more of a guideline than a requirement? That way, if you want to go for ultimate completion you can finish each level in the required number of moves; otherwise, you are welcome to finish each level in as many moves as you'd like. It keeps the challenge of the game if you want it but it's much easier if you just want to get through the game. You could always go back and retry levels.

cool! the options like more "shapes" to rise or fall the  ground. as in more options to bring up or down the ground (sorry im a bad explainer)

I'm not sure about that - it would change the concept of the game, which is the main thing I want to preserve.

What? Scratch sequels are only interesting if there is new gameplay concepts.

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

The main game is to be almost exactly the same, with the exception of there being no requirement to complete the level in the number of turns displayed at the bottom. I stand by that; but in the end it will be a much more "complete" game than the original Scape.

@iCode-747 - thanks  smile

Since I've already decided to make Scape 2 (official thread), this thread now seems irrelevant, meaning I'll be closing this  smile
