Block Idea: Importing and Exporting with BLOCKS
Click here to see some of the blocks. I think that you should be able to import and export stuff like variables, lists, costumes, sprites, and sounds with blocks. Think of it. Wouldn't that be great? For one thing, you could save your progress in a game and come back to it next time! You could save a drawing in a paint program! Isn't this what everyone wants? Please reply if you agree that it should be added.

Yep - this has been suggested a lot. I think the main issue here is that inappropriate or spam-like things could easily be imported to your computer... And for now, you can always just ask them to export it themselves 
However, I'm a full supporter in this kind of stuff. I agree whole-heartedly, especially to the "lists" thing, which could mean full data. It came up in a discussion that maybe the exported files could only be read by Scratch, meaning there could be no harmful files.
