OH? What's this? Look at the time! Yesterday at 12:08:34 Scratch Time! That's July 23rd, 12:08:34 Scratch Time! Registration was supposed to close at 00:00:00 of that day, yet you're still accepting lists? That's not at all fair to the other competitors! I am Boycotting Team Japan! They didn't form in time, they don't get to participate! I don't care what anybody says, these are the facts. The registration closed already. Team Japan wasn't completed then. It is therefore unable to participate. Why do they get special treatment? Huh? How come you're being favourable towards them, Illusionist? And don't try to lie, you are being favourable towards them. That's why you're TRYING to accept them after the registration date! I won't accept them, and neither will any of the other competitors! TREAT EVERYONE FAIRLY ILLUSIONIST. OR DON'T YOU USE COMMON SENSE? IT'S IN THE TERMS OF USE. Have you read them? I won't allow Team Japan to participate, and you shouldn't either. If anything I don't think you should be hosting the Olympics Illusionist. You don't know what you're doing. It's okay, no one blames you. It's just that you're unqualified for the job. I wasn't around for the last Scratch Olympics, but I can tell that Technoman did a finer job. Why? Because he treated everyone equally.

Okay, let's try to figure this out WITHOUT starting a flame war. Last night, we DID have a team. Joeisawesome technically joined our team last night so we had a full team. Plus, I noticed that in your final post in the SOSU2010 thread, you mentioned something about Canada not getting to participate. Well, they're participating too! So what's the difference between Illusionist accepting our team and accepting theirs? Plus, at around 11:50 that night, I posted something that said that I thought we had four members. And, as Shamrocker said, she didn't have time to update the list that night since she got kicked off the computer. Definitely not her fault.

Also, Illusionist is doing a great job at hosting the Olympics. He's been very organized, and I don't think he's done anything wrong. So I'm not quite sure why you're reacting like this; it seems a little rude and harsh.

Canada was a mistake. Don't try to justify this by using my own mistake against me! I had thought that Canada was unassembled at the time, and as you surely know by now, I can't edit my posts or care enough to wait 10 minutes to change something. It was also locked after I posted.

He technically joined last night? Show me proof of having your team assembled and reported. Where are the posts? Give me screenshots. Where did you say something at 11:50, I can't seem to find it. I'm not turning this into a flame war. It's only a discussion. If you think this is becoming a flame war, you have clearly never had a civilized conversation on this site. Also you should know in the future that labelling things as Flame Wars is flamebaiting, eg. prompting someone to start arguing against you.

Did you read the SOSU2010 Topic? I have a Word File of it in case it was deleted. Illusionist is changing the rules to accomodate your team and that's not fair to the other competitors. That rule wasn't there after the registration closed, and also you were not signed up when the registration closed, therefore you're not allowed to be competing. What would you think if someone suddenly changed the rules so that a new person could be added to a contest after the registration for the contest ended? Would you find that perfectly fair? Don't lie and say you would, it is obviously completely unfair. There is no justice in changing around the rules after registration has ended. Clearly Illusionist is not doing as good of a job as you claim he is.

I'm sorry about the Canada and the flamewar-thing; both of those accusations were wrong. But joeisawesome did join before the 23rd; just look at these threads:
http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=41014 [page 1]
http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=41066&p=2 [page 3]
I also have a couple screenshots.

That link that Shamrocker gave me, and that link you gave, are they the same thing? That doesn't really clear anything up, there's no evidence there.

I (m71134) have it. I'm working on the spaceinvasion menu. Once I'm finished, do you want to start working on the actual gameplay?

Okay. Here's the link to the projects I just made: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/TeamJapanSSO/1210997 When you download it, you'll see all the sprites, plus one that says "instructions for m71134," which lists most of the things that still need to be done.
