It isn't because it's NOT THERE. Apple took it off because the iPhones don't support Java. Only Object Oriented scripts like Objective-C.Actually, Apple took it off because code interpreters were against their policy. However, it has since been resubmitted because Apple changed their policy
So now that Apple changed their policy, they're resubmitting the app to see if it fits the rules again?
Probably.
I still have it on my 2nd Generation iPod touch with iOS 4.0
I wish I could share it with you, but Apple has identifiers in their .ipa files that have the Apple ID that bought it.
I wonder if they'll make an Android app.

I hope that sometime there will be an app where you can program Scratch things on your ipod touch. it would be a fun way to pass the time (and a bit more of a point to them then some ) hopefuly, if this is done, we can listen to our own music while we use it. i am not a huge fan of apps that don't let you play your own music. Toy Story mania is an excpetion though

A new tweet from the developer of the Scratch app:
Waiting on Apple for Scratch, and now Fractions Calculator Lite approval, and Parcour for the iPad approval. Busy day of waiting tomorrow.
The tweet was from yesterday.
So, he's still waiting for Apple's approval. I'll continue to post here when he posts more updates on the approval process. In the meantime, you can follow squeaker68882 (the developer) here.

Yep, but as has been mentioned several times before in this thread, it may return shortly! The developer of the App has mentioned it may return to the App Store shortly - it was taken off because of some violations of Apple's policy, but they've changed their policy now. Further details can be found earlier in this thread.

Of course, people who bought the app before it was taken down would still have it on their iPod, which is what I did.

I didn't - as I mentioned earlier in this thread, I *just* got my iPod a few weeks ago, unfortunately.

Well, we have no official confirmation that it's the same app, so that was what was with my guess
