flagging macs vs PCs?

i was thinking... that sometimes i see people making projects about "macs vs PCs", and it always turns into a flamewar of some type, and i have a 2 users currently trolling me about saying that i think macs are better, and flagging me once i get to the point of trolling back. so, should we just flag comments and/or projects relating to mac vs PC? all they do is cause trolling and flamewars.

im even thinking of switching to a different account because of them, and there is really no point at all to make projects/comments like that, all they do is offend people.

Just flag anything that looks like trouble  smile

Retired from Scratch, but just the language itself. Not the forums.

Re: flagging macs vs PCs?

I wouldn't say to flag any post that is about macs vs. PCs. But I would say to flag any post about macs vs. PCs that is disrespectful.

In the future, you may want to avoid these kinds of discussions (I've never seen one that was productive, or that changed anyone's mind  smile  ), but you shouldn't have to create a new account to get out of one. Just ask the people involved to leave you alone, and explain that you don't want to participate in that conversation. If they keep on bothering you, flag and rude comments or use the contact us link to tell the Scratch Team. It's not ok for people to go against the Scratch Terms of Use like that, so we'll ask them to stop and take further action if necessary.

Re: flagging macs vs PCs?

I don't have a mac but I have nothing against them. some people hate vista. I like it. some people like different things then you, no one is like you. that's easy, just agree or get off the internet.

really, after 2 hours? no offense, but could you be more patient? but just listen to common sense, if things get out of control, then flag them  wink
