Someone put Image tags around this please:
I made the above Scratch style animals because I was bored, but then I saw this video on Youtube where they had a multiplayer Scratch Game working. I decided to try to make an online game where many users could connect at once using LogMeIn Hamachi. I will be creating an online world with customisable Scratch Animals as avatars, and there will also be enemies.
I am not quite sure how I can make this work, but I do know for a fact that it is 100% doable. I am not too good of a programmer though, so I will require some help. I can make the art myself, but if you want to try to help, I'll take it. Any ideas are also appreciated.

Added the image tags for you
It sounds like a cool idea, by the way - I'm not any good at using mesh, either
I'd help if I could...

I have a hamachi account
How do you plan on making this game? It doesn't seem like Scratch can handle it
Offline
Dunno.
Any other questions?

I'm in! I'm pretty good at mesh projects in scratch...
Ok... so... I might start working on a base today. But, I don't know how we could do this, because we would have to have, like, 5 different projects -.-

I looked at it. It's good, but I'm not sure if we're going top-down view

(no, this isn't just a link, this is something I think you should see before getting yourself into this,
EDIT: if you do decide to do this though i'll help you out, after all it's better in a large team and I know the guy who first found hamachi and introduced it to scratch.
my advice:
hamachi is really the only way to go now since mmo and go is no longer available. are you guys planning on using BYOB or scratch with mesh? do you have any experience with making mesh connecting games?

We might use a mod for more then 2 players.
Are you talking about lonwol?

fanofcena first introduced hamachi from what i recall.
can't you do more than 2 with hamachi and hacked scratch? i could help you develop a mod i guess, but i'm useless with squeak.
anyway am i accepted to the team?
Offline
Yes. Everyone is
We need lots of help.
Have you ever played one of those games with like a lobby, then you choose a level with a few players and play? I think that's the style of game we're making. Let's just wait for JJ to get on

Oh yeah, I guess I'll go visit there
Anyway, for the players, would 4 or 5 be easy?
Offline
why not just make customizable features for making your own character?
Offline
Well, there'll be that feature too, but the main thing we want to get running is multiplayer first
Offline
oh you mean how many, i remember something about the limit being 14, i don't expect that many to be on all of the time though. anyway what kind of rpg is this, futuristic, modern day, or like a past rpg with swords and stuff. i can make armor and weapons for it if that's what kind of game you want. i dunno what kind of game it is 100% from the description.

One second I'll make a rough drawing of it that'll try to explain a few ideas. It's probably going to be 2nd person view, possibly like a scroller, but the screen doesn't move to reduce the lag. Once you get to the edge, you teleport the the next part of the map
Offline
why not make the screen move, just not infinitely, so eventually it will make you go to a new page but not all of the time.

Sure, if you help us. I have no idea how
This would be a typical level in the boss zone
The gray boxes in the back are just background, but the darker ones in the front are obstacles

um needs huge graphic improvements
i could easily do it, it may work better if we use am scrolling method with about 6 platforms, that way we could have several costumes for each area
um should we really use those animals as characters though?
