I hate summer homework.

I really hate summer homework! I have to read a book over the summer and write a report on it.  mad
I wish schools would stop giving us homework during breaks! I just want to enjoy my time off without having to do even more homework.

I didn't get any homework, but I don't suppose that'll make you feel any better. I wish I'd get homework about reading books. But still, homework is pointless.

I hate it too. I have to read 3 books and take notes. I love reading, but it kills it for me. I'd rather write a report.

Readings only good when the book is good.

So unless they assigned Harry Potter/Percy Jackson/Kingdom Keepers, that sucks for you.

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

I have to read "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" (Ugh) plus two other books from the reading list. I chose "The Black Hole War" and "A Tale of Two Subs"

I need to read two books (luckily one of them is really short - it's for English) and I had to visit a museum and now I have to write stuff about it. Nothing compared with what you guys have ._.

Wow, I feel lucky. I had to just read 3 books- no writing or anything. I just finished the 3rd one this morning. The books were Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut Jr, East of Eden by John Steinbeck, and Ceremony by Leslie Marmon Silko. Now that I'm done I get to read books I actually want to read!  smile

ugh ditto. I have to read: Things Fall Apart, The Book of Embraces (ok this is just funny- on the sheet that they gave us for this, the NY times describes this books as "strangley beautiful"), The Mayflower Compact, The Massachusetts Body of Liberties, the first NINE chapters in my American History book. What else i have to do: some sort of writing for all that AND Memorize the Presidents in order, with their election dates and years served!
At least I'll get used to the amount of work I'll be doing in AP  smile
i'll probably make a project based on the presidents to help me...

My school doesn't give us summer homework. But that doesn't matter, because my Dad does, and it's a much worse situation then it would be at school.
