Some rappers have amazing talent. And then they're are some that just swear without any talent whatsoever. On average I like rap, but they're are more bad performers in rap, then any other gnere I like.

Is Linkin Park good? Plus Beastie Boys ARE rap. But they're rap rock so that might be OK to you.

The only real band I listen to is The Beatles, but I don't have specific songs I like from them. But when you look at the music on my computer, all it is (besides the preloaded stuff WMP gives you) is soundtracks ripped from games! I have The Lost Vikings music from the Sega Genesis and from the GBA, Total Annihilation music, Machinarium music (both the official soundtrack and the stuff ripped directly from the game), and a few others. Anybody heard of any of these?

Anyway, I listen to pretty much every type of music except rap and heavy metal stuff.

If I list my favorites, people would be annoyed because it is nearly all Beatles songs.

Aand thats all. There are many songs I do not like, so I will just list a few: Anything by Kesha, anything by Justin Bieber, and most of the stuff by Lady Gaga.
