I think the line breaks in the gallery notes are an old bug - I remember encountering it quite frequently, and it got rather annoying. Editing longer gallery notes proved to be a hassle, because the line breaks would increase exponentially. As I recall, it was fixed a year or two before, though it may have reappeared as a result of the fix.

Hmmm.. can you give us a link to the gallery? It may be that your gallery description has a bunch of spaces in it. You could try deleting them, to see if that makes things smaller.

Hello, Scratch team. Terribly sorry to bother you with something like this, and it may have a hard impact, but there are some Scratchers who kind of don't like the idea of remixing. Yes, I realize Scratch encourages the idea of remixing, but some people still don't like it. Could there be a way to disable remixing capabilities on certain user-chosen projects in the future? Again, sorry to trouble you with a hard hit like this...
