This should be in All About Scratch. But ok, what do you need help with?

I just want to know if downloading the program is safe for your computer and doesn't cause any viruses.

Scratch is perfectly safe to download. Don't worry. Anything else?

Nope! Thank you very much!

Here's a tip: If you ever want your topic closed, then you can click the report button on your post and say that you want it closed. You can also do the same if you want it open again.

Ok, thanks. Do your things have to be animations, or can they be pictures? Like drawings.

They can be anything, but watch out, there are a few people here *cough* Lucario621 *cough* who don't like just art. If possible, make a slideshow with your art

Your projects can be both animations and pictures. They can be anything you want. Nothing innappropriate though. You can also make games using Scratch. Pictures are welcomed, but there's a lot of people who look down upon just pictures in projects, but don't mind them. You're free to do whatever you want to.

Very well said.

Ok, thanks. I think I'll just start out with drawings first then try animations.
Oh, and I have a question about music on the animations.
Offline
Oh you need to have the music as .wav files. Did you open up Scratch yet?
Offline
Unfortunately, I can't help you with that. I haven't ever put music in my projects. Sorry.

No, I haven't opened it yet. Do I need to save the music from somewhere else? I know basic html/css coding, but I think that is not important for this site.

Sorry, I'm back.
