I'm using WinXP sp3 btw
To copy text in or outside Scratch, highlight it with your mouse then hit Ctrl-C
To paste hit Ctrl-V
I dunno if it is because I'm just an old geez or what but I didn't notice this like forever and it used to drive me slightly crazy, lol.I figured since right click didn't work, you couldn't do it.

I always use, Ctrl-c & Ctrl-v. I also use Ctrl-z to undo. It won't work on scratch, but it works on things like the forums.
