They aren't that bad, in fact, they're just different.

A different team of people are there designing pokemon each generation. And in fact, these new starters are designed better than the previous starters, and are less cliché, upping the imagination. 1st gen starters consisted of all reptiles. That's pretty boring.

The only reason anyone has EVER agreed to this argument, anywhere and everywhere on the internet, only says so because of nostalgia. No exceptions.

I've definitely seen that comic before...

Also, they should just start hiring DeviantArtists to make the new Pokemon. Seriously, just look up "fake pokemon" on there... most of them are actually better than the new ones.

That's the japanese name for the pokemon.

Moltres's japanese name is Flame, Scyther's is Strike, Articuno is Freezer. This isn't very new info.
