So far, the only competition is Antarctica, all the other teams are either joking around or still getting team members. This is Antarctica's progress:

Team Antarctica

Thunderstorm Simulation

I hope spying isn't against the rules. I'll ask Illusionist.

the Tstorm isn't allowed. that was to get me on the team. Just FYI

Oh, thanks.

Re: Team America - Scratch Olympics

Ooh! I have an idea:

"Epic Animation" The most hilarious animation ever. There are several different skits with laugh intervals between each one for viewers to finish LOLing. To end a laugh interval, the viewer must press space.

Re: Team America - Scratch Olympics

Confirmed: Scratch Scratch Revolution
Pending: Scratch Ball, Epic Animation, Character Mash-Up

When we have five pending ideas we will have a vote for which one. All losing ideas will be discarded and we start again. When we have three projects we get down to business.

If you have already told an idea or have thought of something, post it here for the vote. Be aware we will NOT reuse the idea for the next vot.

Oh yeah, and I pick out ones that sound quality and . . . wait for it . . . possible.

Millions have attempted RPGs, the succesful one was just miniature and others are systems never added to. Sorry.

Re: Team America - Scratch Olympics

I was just uploading Scratch Scratch Revolution V0.5...when this happened:

http://i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu354/iamrpk/error.jpg?t=1279589034

It only had three songs in it. Do you think we'd lose points if we split the project in half so the players would have to import one half into the other? Or maybe split it in thirds?

If it is too big, try compressing it.  wink

The lag rating is just as important as the quality rating.

Which I don't think is fair. I believe the judges should give a 1-10 overall rating on what they believe counts. That, or make even more sections.

Giving a lag rating punches it right in the gut and makes you more paranoid toward it.

Maybe we could use note blocks to compose a song? Oh yeah, notes should go with the beat.

So they rate on a downloaded project?

That's npt as bad.

Re: Team America - Scratch Olympics

We'll have to start raw with Scratch Scratch Revolution, but it is still on. Or what about scratch hero, where blocks zoom down one by one and say which key to press? I'll work on a base.

It broke the date rule where you can't use something before 17th.

Re: Team America - Scratch Olympics

Five judges will judge all of the projects you enter (3 max.) and rate the performance of the downloaded version out of 10. Then they will rate the general appeal and quality out of 10. That is a maximum of 100 points possible per project, and 300 points possible for your whole team.  wink

It would be quite interesting if a team actually got a perfect score, 300 points  hmm ...
