Hi Guys!

This is Evelyn from the Scratch Team.  I just wanted to clarify that we are indeed making DesignBlocks as a side project to explore web-based technologies and a Scratch-like variant to the Processing programming language for artists (http://www.processing.org).

DesignBlocks is not Scratch 2.0, but perhaps some of the ideas will help us think about the future of Scratch.

I'm happy to hear your feedback so far, it's very useful.
Perhaps I will post future versions of DesignBlocks here in case you'd like to play with them.

Sorry, there are no forums or support pages. If you have questions I can try to answer them here when I have time.

I have some experience of Processing and I was wondering there is any way to use Designblocks with OpenGL, like you can with Processing?

Re: DesignBlocks

Evhan55: I would like to see the ability to interact with the key board, and things that tell you what X and Y position you are at, in future versions of DesignBlocks.

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

I also want the ability to duplicate scripts you have made.

It says I am wrong everytime.

You never set the variable number to the variable answer.

This is pretty cool! I tried to make a calculator, but I failed. Instead I made a "color machine"  tongue

What if we decide to do what's even harder and make games? It's actually more of an accomplishment than sticking to what they intended.

I like Scratch better.  hmm

The interface in this is pretty bad.

Me too. And there is no forever block!

There actually is. Look at the second block on this blocks guide.

Re: DesignBlocks

The concept itself is very neat but the blocks aren't as easy to access or use as the ones in "real" Scratch.
