Here.
Randomly generates a simple, but realistic-looking 4X4 terrain and allows you edit the corner heights of the squares. Pretty simple, but somewhat fun.

I'm thinking of trying to make a fill button that will, well, fill all the squares based on their slopes.

Now with display mode and edit mode. In edit mode, you can change any corner to a new height anywhere between -3 and 3 (watch the list). In view mode it generates what the ground would most likely look like, but do to how that part runs, steep slopes cause glitchyness. I might try to add the ability to choose the amount of points you edit, but I don't know if that will happen. I will probably also add a flatten button that will take the average of all the points and then set them all to that. I think the generation of display looks best with a random set up, so you can just click the green flag to get a random generation.

Added smoothing affect by pressing "s" key and updated filling graphics.

Almost forgot: Anything anyone want added?

Cool, faved and added!! Could you make the corners a little easier to grab? You could make a face version, or make the shape where you can spin it and work on different sides

ahh... no. Not making it that 3D. What's a face version? From above?

Since it has limits on tweak-ability, you could pre-shape it like a face, then people could re-shape it slightly to make different faces. Cut it into more pieces, then chain them so that moving one moves the surrounding ones slightly, you could make a pen with adjustable "strengths"

That might be possible, but I was think something more like being able to adjust how many points you're adjusting (i.e. 1, 4, 9, 16, 25). Although you're idea would help with keeping the points from crossing certain boundaries with each other while maximizing height and depth.

Edit mode works nicely... Maybe add a feature that allows you to adjust the direction of lighting?

Hmm... Might be possible, but the way it works, I don't think so. It uses the three slopes to each of the other corners to determine an average slope, so it draws two slopes that are going opposite directions the same color if they're the same.
