Problem with my profile

When trying to personalise my profile, and set the time zone that I'm in, scratch won't change it; it'll just say with the default eastern timezone.  Is this a glitch in the website, and if so can I notify the scratch team about it in any way?

Re: Problem with my profile

Are you trying to personalize your forum profile? If so, that glitch has been around for a long time and is likely not to be fixed - you'll have to stick with it.  sad

Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.

So, do all the forum users have the same default timezone as their local timezone?

Well, they all have the same forum setting (GMT -5 or Scratch Time). Unfortunately, there is no way to change this yet... And I don't dislike it, to be honest - it's nice to have a communal time. Though I'd like to hear what somebody whose time zone is not GMT -5 has to say.

I like it. Though I really usually only look at the time on my own clock, I really don't care. Oh, and it's an hour off.

Retired from Scratch, but just the language itself. Not the forums.

Re: Problem with my profile

I get confused when it's daylight savings time in one time zone, but not the other xD I live in England, therefore, I go by GMT... it's usually either 4 or 5 hours difference - five is more common, but I remember when DST started in Scratch Time... I was confuuused  tongue  (normally I add five hours to get what time it was posted in GMT... But I kept coming up with times that were an hour after I was checking xD)

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

Or they could just remove the option altogether...
