Round Robin
I was thinking what if alot of scratchers got together and all contributed a scratch project to a compendium of projects. Every user would give one project to a gallery and then, well we could improvise from there.

This is an interesting idea - One common interpretation of a round robin refers to a group of people who each contribute towards sewing patches on a quilt - in this sense, would you be asking other members to contribute "swatches" of a project? These might be sprites, sfx, scripts that you could then weave together to form a storyline or game...or are you looking for individuals to submit entire projects to then remix/recombine as a group?
Either way, I think this is an great angle at collaborating...this should certainly generate some creative new ideas!
