This system is used in Bittorrent. A program I adore for it's interesting programming and ideas.
Bit Torrent is too slow.... I usually have my torrents download on the Thunder server (10m/s) and then download the finished file via FTP onto my computer. FULL SPEED AHEAD

I myself use Utorrent V 1.6.1. And It works like a charm!
