Xemotheses, he can do it as long as he limits how many troops you can have on the field which would be easy enough to integrate into the story. This is going to be a hard and big game though, I just played some of it online. And Dingdong, it is just a coincidence that they have the same name, he didn't do it on purpose.

Yeah I though of that it's just it would lose some of the flavor about endless hoards pouring fourth to conquer other territories.

It can be repeated by anyone who wants. Everyone who uploads something to scratch is sharing it in the creative commons license which clearly states that you are free to adapt and remix.
